How to Delete Your Data

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Which applies to you?

There are two ways your data can exist:

  • You used the tools as a guest (never signed up) โ€” your data is only in your browser. See "Guest data" below.
  • You have an account โ€” your data is on our server. See "Delete your account" below.

Download a copy first (optional)

Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep a copy, go to Settings โ†’ Download my data first. You will get a JSON file containing your tasks, moods, journal entries, routines, habits and bookmarks.

Delete your account

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Open Settings from the menu.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Click Delete My Account and confirm.

This is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your profile โ€” username, email and password hash
  • Your Google account link, if you used Google sign-in
  • All tasks and mood check-ins
  • All journal entries
  • All routines and their steps
  • All habits and habit check-in history
  • All article bookmarks
  • Your XP and level
